The comments are completely missing the point Neil is making. It’s not about ‘Americans feeling xyz’ it’s simply ‘if a country doesn’t believe in science, it’s principles, and it’s benefits— is a nation that will fall behind in every stage’. Every stage? Healthcare, infrastructure, everything will fall apart. Heat will get worse people will die, but you can bet your butt that CEOs and Trillionaires will be cooled off, fed, hydrated and sheltered in their underground bunkers or their billion dollar yachts. You, the average American, will be dead. Welcome in climate catastrophes after catastrophes. China will be fine! The majority of the rest of the world will be fine, they’ll move inland. But there is not inland in America because our water (that takes roughly 1,000+ years to recoup) will be gone, gobbled up by AI and those same billionaires
