Esperemos que la nueva serie Blade Runner 2099 tenga fuertes conecciones y referencias a las película Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2022 el apagón, Blade Runner 2049 y los comics precuela. Además, de seguro, si la serie es exitosa, aparte de producirse más temporadas, seguramente se producirá contenido complementario como comics, novelas, vidiojuego o quizás películas, donde abarcarán y cuenten que paso en ese lapso de tiempo de 50 años, explicando y respondiendo a las preguntas, ¿Qué paso con Rick Dekard? ¿Qué pasó con su hija (La Dr Ana Stelline) y como tomó la noticia de que no es 100% humana y que su madre era una replicante? ¿Se logró realizar la revolución y rebelión replicante? ¿Qué pasó con Wallas y su compañía? ¿Se logró crear a replicantes que pueden concibir vida a través de reproducción sexual? Esas entre muchas otras preguntas de la saga. Quizás, en la serie nos respondan la pregunta sin contestas desde hace décadas ¿Rick Dekcard es un humano o es un replicante?
