@kodianity: Eventually, investing will help calm your nervous system. But …you will need some level of peace to think clearly about your personal growth. If you’re constantly in a stressful environment, it can delay your growth because all your energy is spent trying to survive the stress instead of having the patience and mental space to start building something from scratch. So against all advice and judgement I left a very toxic job worried I was making a stupid decision and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. Happy I was “stupid”
