For Denji, even small things like eating good food, having a bed, or someone paying attention to him felt like huge dreams. What makes Denji different is that he isn't chasing glory or heroism. His dreams are simple - a normal life, good food, affection, and someone who cares about him. Because he grew up with nothing, even the smallest happiness feels big to him.
