im 44 and two years ago I temporarily moved back in with my parents. Once a week my dad and I went to the city 48 miles away to get groceries to do errands, etc and despite me offering to pay he paid for my lunch. when we got groceries he didn't want me to contribute (he said we ate the same things as him and it didn't affect his grocery budget lol) i felt so spoiled in those 5 months of living back home
