I "fell in love" with my brother in law before he married my sister. I kept my mouth SHUT, stood as my sister's MOH, and supported their relationship. Turns out it was a silly infatuation because I was young and silly. I love the guy still but I love him as a brother, he's a good man to my sister and they're still going strong 12 years and 3 kids later. I'm truly happy my sister found the love of her life, and I'm doubly happy I was smart enough to shut my damn mouth.

There’s always a bit ridiculous to me that people think someone falls in love with someone else because of how they met. You could have the greatest meetcute in the world, and it not work out because of who the person was. She doesn’t love your brother because of how she met him. She loves your brother because she loves him. Definitely AH.
