You are correct all children deserve the same treatment across the board. I was a student that could not deal with DPS when I got to high school. I had to go to alternative school and thrived. I ended up starting a business in early childhood because we have to love support, educate and keep our children safe all while letting them know just because you live in Detroit you deserve the same things as your peers in the suburbs!!!

You are in the same boat as me. I think we are in the same neighborhood, you look very familiar. My family lost our home in 2011 when I was 13 but I’m back with my kids cause I wanted them to have experience growing up in the Detroit that we all should’ve had!!!! My kids have special needs, I’m gonna push for all kids to be risen up because I know it helps everyone. The city is rising up and we have to keep pushing forward for positive change. I appreciate this energy. Poverty pimp had me laughing

thank you for using your platform and you're right they were arresting parents that came to the school meetings they act like they forgot about that. then they replaced our school board and stop telling the parents about the meetings even though they never listen to us.

MFS are talking to the survivors of stop and frisk and 3 strikes we are NOT playing with our kids my son got alt lunch 1 time in fkn pre-k cuz apparently they charge for lunch even on days there isnt school??!! when i got done, nobodys kid was paying for lunches they count on us getting out and never looking back..but we all know its wrong while we are there
