This is a good point—why on earth should a young person be expected to be doing something all the time? Modern society enslaves the child's mind by sending them to school from an early age, yet the truth is that a child has no desire for school; it is merely the system's way of turning children into obedient slaves who will eventually work eight-hour days just to barely scrape by. This is modern slavery: in the past, slave owners paid for housing and food, whereas today, modern slaves pay for these things themselves. They are not free, but rather prisoners of this modern system. So let them live their own lives; there is nothing wrong with not wanting to do anything, because the concept of "personal time" is alien to modern society.
