Tender is the Flesh is so damn good. If you want an unhinged story that feels like it could be set in our timeline I'd recommend Maeve Fly by CJ Leede. Anything by Nat Cassidy for horror but I think you'd specifically like When the Wolf Comes Home. T. Kingfisher is one of my favorites and I swear they can write any genre but my favs are The House with Good Bones, The Sworn Solider Trilogy, and Nettle and Bone. Chuck Tingle's Bury Your Gays is also amazing. I hope this helps and happy reading. 🌱✨️💕

You should also try audiobooks! They’re great to work in some reading while doing other activities. Driving, grocery shopping, house chores, skin care, exercise, etc! 💜 Libby and Hoopla are free with public library cards and you can “check out” audiobooks for 2-3 weeks to give them a try!

You should try reading The Reformatory by Tananarive Due! I also would recommend Monstrilio by Gerardo Sámano Córdova! Two of my favorite books
