This tracks. I’ve had a Mongolian friend, Onon, since the late 90s, and she basically told me this back then when we first met. Love that girl! She asked me if I knew who Genghis Khan was. I said yes. Her eyes lit up and she exclaimed, “He is my father!” That’s when I knew we’d be friends. 🤝
