I loved the diary entry a couple of weeks ago about the young lady’s trip to the Grand Hotel in Scarborough. Nearly 150 years later I hear the same poor reviews from friends as she made in her diary. 😀👏👏👏👍

We visited one cold February day in 2009 and couldn’t go in because they were filming The Wolfman (2010) with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. A weird site was them moving a horse drawn funeral hearse around (complete with tall black feathers on the horses’ heads). You really need to see the Pride and Prejudice series from 1996. IMHO there is no other Mr Darcy than Colin Firth (be still my beating heart ☺️) and no other Elizabeth Bennet than Jennifer Ehle ❤️🇦🇺

Love Chatsworth, we visit regularly. They also have a behind the scenes tour which is amazing. Christmas is spectacular too! ❤️
