My dad died as a result of medical negligence. He raised me solo. My nan who took on my mother’s role died the very next day because she couldn’t live without him. I lost my whole support system in 24 hours😔 it will be 3 years this October and I’m still far from okay

Do you have any poems about someone who took their own life? My family and I are going through this with a family member who tried over and over due to childhood trauma, then seemed better and just had his first grandchild and so much going for him and supposed to walk his daughter down the aisle and watch his son get married as well, but he left us on Thanksgiving in a manner he had never tried before and that would make his death certain. It’s such a mix of anger and sadness and relief and discovering his gut wrenching past that made him the way he was. At his wake, seeing his body in a way that didn’t look like him, hearing his daughter’s screams as she first sees him for the last time, so many people I wished he knew that came to support him. At his funeral, his existence shoved into a tiny box where his ashes sit. Buried near late family who either harmed him or didn’t believe him. Not wanting religion involved because of what he experienced at church as a child. It’s so many feelings in one that I cannot seem to let go of. Him being a little brother reminds me of my little brother. He masked everything with his humor. He isolated himself a lot until more recently when he was having health issues. Just so many layers.
