@caspiro.film: The Old Swimming Pool Under His Floor Is Now a Secret Bathroom Deep in an overgrown garden he found an abandoned swimming pool under a rotten tarp. He ripped the tarp off, cleaned out the faded blue bowl, then spanned it with steel beams and built an insulated timber floor right over it at ground level — leaving a hatch above the old chrome ladder. On that platform he raised a small timber house: frame, rafters, boards, roof, a black steel window and a door, insulated walls, a rustic kitchen, warm lights off a portable power station. Then he opened the hatch, climbed down the old pool ladder into the tiled bowl and plumbed a full bathroom into it — trench through the pool tiles, drain pipe, gravel, membrane, insulated walls, new tiles, panels, spotlights and fixtures.
