I remember this story. It was between him and Warwick Davis. Billy couldn't do it because of his limp, and Mr Davis unfortunately had a scheduling conflict, but James Cameron really wanted him. That sucks because that movie would have been a whole lot better.

That motorcycle accident really messed with his career. He was supposed to have a much bigger role in “The Doors” but couldn’t because he was still recovering.

I just watched this again for the 500th time a few weeks ago and when the chase sequence hit I looked at my wife and said, “The way this guy (Robert) runs actually makes this scene totally believable.” He was the right guy for the role! No doubt.
