Slightly unrelated but me as a coloured customer to my fellow coloured working at the till. I ask a question in English, she tells me " It's okay, you can speak Afrikaans" wtf do you mean, English is my mother tongue and language preference, did sis not give me attitude because I continued speaking English. Dawg😭 It's be your own people I swear.

I experienced this in Woolworths Canal Walk. The black worker was doing her thing at the bra section, I walked past her with my hands full. A white lady walks towards her she greeted the lady and offered the lady a basket because she was walking with one item in her hand. Mind you the white lady didn’t even pay attention to her. She was literally doing the most because the white lady walked in her direction. I was so shocked, because I was ignore and not even greeted
