This is not a rich person by any means. But look at the quality of her life! She’s retired in her mid-50s! Her mum has FREE housing because she was a school teacher. Her savoury breakfast pancake was 30 cents! The sandwich she had as a snack was $2. Her fried rice dinner was $2.70. Her bus trip was 30 cents. Yes, wages are lower in China. But the low cost of living allows people to live with dignity. How many people in the US for instance are able to be retired in comfort and ease at 57, and spend the whole day chilling and eating out? Not a rich person, or an entrepreneur, just a normal everyday working person. People in the West have been conned.

Thank you for sharing your life. It’s very interesting I thought of China as big crowded cities or rural areas. Never thought about suburbs. It looks lovely. Regarding the price $37 it’s hard to gauge. Depends on the persons income.
