I'm assuming this was the desired outcome though? I mean most government agencies, public utilities and private corporations will have to test, patch and protect their systems to a much higher standard now. Commercially, they will surely need to purchase very expensive AI products. That way, AI companies can try to claw back some of the huge investments being made and try to prevent the bubble bursting (the real danger to the stock market.)

Not enough people understand how serious and scary this is. Especially, older generations, and they vote. We need serious intense oversight of these AI companies and programs. That's not likely to happen in the current climate. We may be cooked. ✌️
