@namwilamulwanda: As someone who didn’t have these kind of conversations growing up, I’m glad I can be the person she can come to with things like this, even though my initial reaction is me being thrown off because I can never guess what she’s going to say sometimes 😂 I think a lot of us have a simplified view of what sex ed is, thinking it’s only focusing on the act of having sex, when in reality, knowing about your body and what happens, the correct names for things etc is a large part of that too. I’m also teaching her this so that someone doesn’t shake her for normal bodily functions because we still hear in 2026 that our vulva is meant to smell like a fruit salad when all in all, it’s an organ! Just adding that I stumbled over my words — the vagina is self cleaning, but the outer area (your vulva) needs some tlc so don't neglect it, and know what your normal is so that you know when something is up!!⭐️
