Villains do it better :
Some of these comments acting so surprised that a dark romance which means she chooses the VILLIAN acts villainous. She chooses the bad guy whether willingly or by him messing with her head. It’s called dark for a reason. He’s not going to be a white night or morally grey. He’s a villain with the only redeeming quality is he doesn’t delete her. Even then in some of the books he does. We don’t condone this in real life. For me I’ve always wondered what would happen if she chose the bad guy instead of the good and these are definitely that. There’s cute romance and then there’s DARK romance which is not true romance but horror with a twisted messed up “romance” but most of us know it’s not romantic. I personally like to get into the minds of sociopaths and psychopaths and to see how and why she would even choose him when he’s being so insane and problematic. Most of these types of books are horror but it’s labeled dark romance because she chooses him no matter how deranged he is.
