I have a dependent child who just finished year 13 and she is trying to apply for apprenticeship, is she eligible for apprenticeship on her child dependent visa, she has been in The UK for 2yrs 10 months now and if she gets the apprenticeship can she remain on dependent visa or she has to have her own sponsorship. please help,

I came to the UK in January 2025 on a Student visa through the NDDC Scholarship. My wife and our three children joined me in August 2025 as my dependants. Although my Student visa is due to expire on 17 September 2026, I have recently been offered a 5-year Skilled Worker visa sponsorship as a Care Worker (SOC 6135). My main concern is whether my wife and our three children will be able to switch from being my Student visa dependants to becoming my dependants under my Skilled Worker visa. I would really appreciate your professional advice on .so I thought I would reach out. Thank you in advance for your time and guidance

I think this guy is taking advantage of immigrants who are struggling in the UK. Before they even listen to your situation, they ask for £100.For my family, we switched from a PSW visa to a Skilled Worker visa (COS code 6131). 18th of this month , We didn’t use a lawyer, didn’t submit a solicitor’s cover letter just applied ourselves, and all three family visas were approved. My son was born in Nigeria, so I don’t know whether the approval was because of that or because my wife works for the NHS under the 6131 occupation code. I also know other families who were approved without paying people for advice
