the strange thing was the Pontiac vibe.. the whole lot of it, including the Pontiac styled front nose, was exported to JDM and sold as a Toyota over there. and it did sold well the only difference was they removed the orange side markers and added orange turn indicators on the taillights. Toyota didn't even add in any Toyota logo on the front. Pontiac logo was modded ever so slightly... they removed the red part leaving the whole chrome arrow head 😂 the vibe was obviously the daddy of Corolla cross today. so Corolla cross wasn't a totally new segment invention
