Did we not learn from the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire?? It was the SAME thing leading to the death of 146 employees because they locked fire exits and emergency exits. In today’s day and age, it could be fire, or some other kind of emergency like a terror threat and you have to evacuate with speed, a flood etc. This needs fixing!

This is literally a fire hazard ! You’d be trapped in there if there was something . I saw lady struggle to get her stroller though , and the booth guy didn’t want to open it because he said it was MTA policy to have a 12 second timer on them to be locked from the inside to “avoid fare evaders” people still go through by the way 😳🔥
