@whitscomplex2.0: There was a moment after my first amputation when I stood in front of the mirror on my new prosthetic leg… and for the first time in my entire life, I looked at myself and said, “You are beautiful. And you are capable of anything you want to do.” That moment changed everything. It wasn’t just about accepting my body — it was the first time I truly chose to love myself after a lifetime of believing I wasn’t enough. That exact moment is captured on the cover of my children’s book, Whit & Wheels: A Journey of Courage. (HUGE thanks to Valerie Wieners for bringing the vision to life so beautifully!) I put it there because I want every child (and every adult) who picks it up to know: you are worthy of that same kindness toward yourself. So here’s my invitation to you today: Find a mirror. Look yourself in the eyes. And give yourself the words you’ve been waiting to hear. You are beautiful. You are capable. You are enough — exactly as you are. Tag someone who needs this reminder, or share your own “mirror moment” in the comments. Let’s flood the internet with a little more self-love today. 💛 Book link in bio, comments & stories! 📖 #WhitAndWheels #SelfLove #AmputeeStrong #YouAreBeautiful #DisabilityPride
