@build_in_public: This was a study of over 1.4 million ChatGPT prompts to see why ChatGPT cites one page over another. The number one thing is URLs need to match the searches that ChatGPT does. These are called fan-out queries. To see the fan-out queries do this: Put in a prompt. Copy the part of the URL that comes after /c/ Right-click, Inspect. Go to Network. Paste in what you just copied. Refresh the page. Click the orange brackets with what you just copied. Go to response. Search response for the word queries. You'll see what ChatGPT searched. In some cases, ChatGPT will do multiple searches. This is why it's called fan-out queries. The queries fan out into multiple searches. The relevance of your URLs to the fan-out queries matters a lot. You also want your page title, and your H1 relevant to the fan-out queries. If getting cited in ChatGPT sounds very similar to search engine optimization, this is a quote directly from Google. "Optimizing for generative AI search is optimizing for the search experience. It is thus still SEO." If you want to save years learning how to do search engine optimization that targets paying customers, users, and warm leads calling you up, that gets recommended by AI, check out compactkeywords.com #generativeengineoptimization #seo #searchengineoptimization #answerengineoptimization
