I'm in school for archaeology/paleontology and you're 100% right. What we think dinosaurs look like is constantly changing. The current research is leaning more towards a lot of dinosaurs looking very bird-like with feathers. And the consensus will probably change again! Technology evolving is a big reason for this

Girl this isn't even a hot take it's just objectively true. Paleontologists know that they don't have a 100% accurate picture of what certain species of dinosaurs look like.

Dinosaurs still exist. We use our knowledge of existing dinosaurs to make assumptions of past dinosaurs

You did not ruffle my feathers! It’s just your point of view and everybody has their opinion and you were just voicing yours. You could say whatever you want on here somebody will find something wrong with it even if you’re not talking about aliens or dinosaurs, so don’t sweat it girl.

Im absolutely not hating just wanted to inform a little that nr 1 besides skeletons soft tissue and sometimes even organs can also be preserved and have been discovered along with the skeletons which helps built a much more accurate prediction of how they looked like nr 2 is that we don't just draw skin over the bones and hope for the best (we did used to but now we're a lot better about that) there's a more extensive process and we analyze things like scars on bones and pigment structures that can sometimes be found on bones to determine where they had muscles or what color were they nr 3 all dinasours were reptiles and reptiles usually have more of a ,,skin over bones" built compared to mammals like the examples u gave like a giraffe or a pitbull u can probably even imagine that when u think of a lizard o a crocodile their skeletons aren't that far off from how they actually look like in comparison to something like a pitbull or a chicken with all that said tho yes theres still ,,wiggle room" to how accurately we portray them but its not as arbitrary as we think hope this clears it up a little also I love your videos and wish u the best 💕
