What happened to "always show up 20-30 minutes? Make yourself invaluable no matter what job you have? My late mom taught me that. Dress for the interview (I know apps are online now) Have someone help with your resume! My 31 year old son does the same! He's early and makes himself invaluable! He worked at Wendy's when he was 16! 😂I wish I had the video his Manager made. He's offering various beverages in detail. You'd think he was the CEO. He quickly became the manager. 😂One day he calls me "Mom no time for questions, please bring me my Xtra pair of black pants. " I brought the pants. Looking through the 🪟 I saw him give the pants to a teenager. Later he told me the guy needed a job and said he could start today. Thanks for bringing my pants, I gave them to him.

Training them is a mess. They just stare, absorb nothing, ask no questions, take no initiative, if they aren't terrified of human interaction they're ready to fight everyone. It's bizarre.

saw another post of a young lady that got fired from her dream job in Tampa for not getting pre-employment paperwork turned in on time. One page needed to be notarized, she didnt know what that was. They gave her 2 times, then fired her. No accountability, no initiative to figure it out. Sad

My son’s public school (here in GA) has a policy that if you are late to 4 classes, you have Saturday school! Thank you to our principal for teaching this since some parents don’t!

This is my son all day. He has lost 2 jobs and is forensic science major. I’m a whole nurse. Working two jobs. I told him to join the military. He has no discipline focus or motivation.
