This is so sad. 😩😭 Imagine not knowing you’d have the last car ride with your dog and your dog survives the crash without you. 😭 During my drive, I got stopped by a detour as cars were being turned around after a really bad car accident. I noticed this tiny dog with blood on his face that seemed to be confused. It looks as though the dog survived the crash but no one had came to take the dog. I asked the officer and he said they couldn’t take him and couldn’t give me information on the accident so I gave them my info and posted on Pawboost in case relatives look for him. I’ve been comforting and mourning with this dog on our way to the sanctuary. I’m now wrapping up chores so I can go to the ER tonight. It won’t be cheap to go to the vet after hours but my goal is to get him checked out and get pain meds so he can sleep comfortably because when I pick him up he cries sometimes. He’s so tiny and he’ll be by my side if anyone would like to follow his rescue. If anyone can help us get him seen tonight, I’ll be headed there in about an hour and I’ll be there all night because his injuries aren’t as severe as others. To donate towards his vet bill, medication, food and more to help him relax and rest after this tragedy and transition, please donate now.
