I'm in korea now. There are mixed opionins online but I'm finding staying Myeongdong to be the best experience. My hotel is right next to the night market and all the major shops and a short walk to the palace. Its really centrally located and easy to access transportation or get an uber

I would NOT stay in myeongdong… so touristy and packed u feel like cattle waking from one end to the other. But u can still stay close to Jogno 3 or near ikseongdong/ insadong and be very central to everything!

Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, so many beautiful cafes, restaurants, and shops, it feels like it’s out of a fairy tale.

heyy!! as a korean, I recommend going to the coex mall for shopping and to see the starfield library!! it's a rlly cool place. have a nice time in korea 🫶

Must go to Daiso !! They have cheap stuff yes, but it’s so good. The skincare, makeup, basic necessities and even cute things along the way !! I also recommend trying Ppaiks coffee house too

Buy the climate card for the amount of day you are there. Instead of using T-money. Do olive young for skin care. Sounds crazy but McDonald’s has a good shrimp burger. Also fried chicken and beer are a big thing

Stay in ikseondong. Don’t stay in Myeongdong unless you like overpriced night market food and loud noises. I’d also recommend staying in Sangsu or jongno. Pack everything in a small carry on and nest it in a large carry on for souvenirs and skincare. The national

When you get to the airport. Skip all those eSIM companies. They’re wayyy too overpriced. Go to CU (convenience store) and purchased your T-Money card & Esim. I got the 1week eSIM & it was only 27,000 won which was very cheap. It gives you a Korean number & unlimited data. It seriously never slows down. Always at full bar signal.
