My ex compared his ankle surgery (a two inch incision) to my c-section surgery. I was expected to walk the next day, he couldn’t get off the crutches six weeks after his surgery.

I had hyperemesis my entire pregnancy. By the time I was 1 month pregnant, I’d lost like 15 lbs from throwing up. When my daughter was born, I weighed less then pre pregnancy. Her umbilical cord also accidentally fell out of my cervix while I was in labour, so a doctor had to shove her entire forearm into my cervix to hold the cord in place to drop her from suffocating while they rushed me into an emergency c section. Even with an epidural, that was one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life. I also had cholestasis and on top of my hands and feet feeling like they were on fire, I had to go into the hospital every week, twice a week minimum, for the last 3 months of my pregnancy, to get blood tests and monitoring, up until she was born, to make sure she wasn’t going to be still born. But sure. Poor men. They have it so rough.

For the last month, my oldest decided to stretch out diagonally instead of straight across. I, repeatedly, had her toe stuck between ribs! She’s also the on that was 2 weeks, 4 days late and produced front and back labor for 15 hours. She’s lucky she was cute. 😜
