I want to play this now! this video answered every question. what an interesting and challenging game. I would probably get back into bowling if there was a place like this in my area, and didn't expect that much difference from 10 pin. but it seems like golf or 9 ball. it could get frustrating. and that's alright. it looks awesome.

a point that makes it clear is that you can hit the headpin in candlepin bowling and knock only that pin down; you cannot do that 10 pin?

Do you treat your pin decks? If so what do you use to treat them and how often?

Thank you for all the details involved in this game. No oil, big gap between pins, etc. It is very interesting especially comparing it to regular bowling.

IMO the hardest thing about candlepin is resisting the urge to pitch the ball like a softball at the pins 🫣

I think I am surprised at how many different types of bowling there are. as a kid, I found duck pins in the Maryland area, and I recently went up to Canada and discovered a couple of different types of 10 pin, bowling using the full size pins.

Those gaps get me every time I candle pin bowl! Your explanation was great - definitely makes me want to bowl again soon. 😁

That’s so interesting. It looks fun but also looks harder than “regular” bowling
