so when you call us “females” instead of just saying women, it’s dehumanizing and reducing women down to their sex instead of just referring to us as people. “female” is literally a biological classification, so using it as a noun for women in casual conversation is really objectifying, especially when some men already view women only in a sexual way. there's literally nothing wrong with saying “women,” so idk why some of you are so insistent on calling us “females” even though so many women have made it clear that it’s offensive and degrading.
