My had soap is always antibacterial but that’s really it. There’s no need of antibacterial soap for your entire body. It disrupts the healthy bacteria on your skin and it increases the risk of antibiotic resistant bacteria like MRSA. The only time you need antibacterial soap on your body is if you have a fresh tattoo, cuts, lesions or incisions that are prone to infection.

I've always been told by nurses that you wash cuts & scrapes in antibacterial soap. Other than that, regular soap is just fine.

I use both on my body. But I have also gone septic so I’m scared of infections it literally terrifies me so I usually wash with antibacterial first

Never antibacterial. It kills all the good bacteria too and is why we have so many antibiotic resistant super bugs now.

It’s not necessary … normal soap washes germs off your skin; antibacterial soap kills the germs you’re washing off
