@witholaf: In May 2016, airbrush artist Benjamin Lloyd made a simple promise on Facebook. He wrote, "50 likes and i'll go to Starship Hospital and tat all the kids up." He never expected what happened next. Within about 24 hours, his post received more than 400,000 likes and thousands of comments. People from around the world encouraged him to keep his promise. Benjamin did exactly that. He visited Starship Children's Hospital in New Zealand and spent his time giving children colorful temporary tattoos. Using safe, washable ink, he carefully created each design by hand. Every tattoo took about nine minutes to finish. The children smiled as they chose superheroes, animals, flowers, and other fun designs. For many of them, it was a chance to forget about hospitals, treatments, and illness, even if only for a little while. Seeing their reactions meant everything to Benjamin. He said, "It's just amazing watching their confidence and their ego boost up... The only bad thing is that they don't want to take a shower afterwards." The tattoos washed off easily, but the joy they brought lasted much longer. Many children felt happier, more confident, and excited to show their new artwork to family, friends, and hospital staff. Benjamin's act of kindness did not end there. He continued visiting hospitals and medical centers across New Zealand, bringing smiles to even more children facing difficult times. His story showed that kindness does not always have to be big or expensive. Sometimes, a few minutes, a little creativity, and a simple promise can give a child confidence, happiness, and a reason to smile during one of the hardest times of their life. #KindnessMatters #InspiringStories #GoodNews #ActsOfKindness #Hope
