Is the chase sapphire preferred a good second card? I have the quicksilver from capital one but im using it for all my subscriptions and want one for my everyday spending

Yeah you kinda have it a bit backwards. Freedom unlimited should be the daily driver besides gas, online groceries and overlap categories such as dining. CSP for all things travel. FU needs more usage from you, you’re just losing out on points.

Should be using the Chase Freedom unlimited for your miscellaneous or non category purchase , 1.5 is a good catch all and then you can transfer it to your CSP

Definitely use the CFU for your catch all, and then the rest on the CSP. Missing out on .5% on miscellaneous purchases! Great video!

You should be using the FU to build points, the only real benefit of the CSP is the gas. The points are the same for dining except you get 1.5X on everything instead of 1X. So use the CSP for gas, use the FU for everything else.
