And they say this is how we'll actually start fighting climate change. Their goal is to stop the Great Salt Lake from shrinking by 2030 and double the Colorado River’s flow by 2031. I think we’ll actually be able to engineer our way out of a lot of our climate problems. Because companies like Rainmaker’s won’t just produce more water for humans. They’ll also create healthier rivers, forests, and wetlands, which create better habitats for the animals and plants that depend on them. So this could become a serious conservation tool, helping keep ecosystems in balance, reduce wildfire risk, and give threatened species a better chance to recover. To me, that’s a much more hopeful future. We solve climate problems while helping the natural world continue to thrive.
