Mely 🍬 :

old people with tattoos are so dope, i work in LTC and i very rarely see people with tattoos, but when i do its great to listen to their stories and see how the tattoos aged

yourfairypreceptor :

As a nurse, tattooed old people are always the most chill, fun, cool AF people. Can confirm.

chuckie_in_kc :

I am 50 and am finally working on my sleeves. I have so many people shocked that I’m “so old” getting more tats and they’re like “what it going to look like when you’re an old lady?” And I’m like “I’ll look like a badass tattooed old lady!”

pao :

Literally. My thing is - it’s a memory of that point in time. Everyone is too obsessed with looking aesthetic and not old all the time. Who cares

Tattoos arent good in general, alot of jobs wont take you because of tattoos, the ink gets in your bloodstream. And they increase risk of infections in the tattoo area.

havilla ribeiro :

me and my butterfly tattoo will be just fine

Nevaeh :

my grandma has hella tattoos and she looks cool asl with them she was one of the first people plus my mom who made me want tattoos so bad

ruby :

i am so excited to be rocking a bikini at 60 with my belly tattoo

geem0w :

Have you seen a 70 year old woman who takes care of her body and didn’t put ink in their skin? Just as cool.

int3rn3t3ntity :

literally an elderly woman came into my job and complimented my tattoo and she rolled up her sleeve to show me HER SLEEVE TATTOO i still think she's one of the coolest people ive ever met

rosie <3 :

as a healthcare worker, any time i see that my geriatric patients have tattoos, i just knew they were so cool back in the day
