What skates to go with as a beginner?! I cover a few in this video, not nearly as in-depth as I would like, but I could go on forever, so I tried to keep it as short as possible. If you don’t want to watch or prefer to read, here’s my quick ranking in the caption. No. 1 🏆: surgrip boardwalks. These offer a nice compromise of quality vs price, sub $170, genuine suede, and come in lots of colors to chose from. Huge plus; your favorite Beltline skater rocks these @rollergay_ and he will attest that the skates don’t matter nearly as much as the skater, and man does he drive the point home by being smoother than any of us in the boardwalks. No 2. Moxi Panther. A bit more expensive but offer more structure (which I like but some people prefer a softer feel in the early stages). Still suede and will last you until you’re pretty damn good. Also carry the name of Moxi so they may be easier to off load if you hate falling and want to sell them. No. 3: hard to say but I would maybe go VNLA parfait?? On par with number 2 for a lot of the same reasons (price, material, cute colors) but a little less popular so I don’t have as much personal experience with them or know people who do. Reliable brand with suede boot means you can’t go wrong imo! In my opinion, it’s a little bit harder to choose an intermediate boot because ther options get more complex the better you get and personal preference comes into play, so let me know what you think! ##beginner##skatertips##rollerskating##tutorial
