I hate to play devil's advocate but any printer ink can say it's compatible. unless it's direct quote from HP then it's not really compatible

It’s one thing for a company to recommend that you use their brand, but not require you to only use their brand! Some people just don’t get it! — Even medications have a generic! Heck, most insurance companies won’t cover name brand med’s to save money.

Try this order: 1. Turn off automatic firmware updates. On the printer, look under Settings → Printer Maintenance / Update Printer → Printer Update Options and disable automatic updates. The exact menu varies by model. 2. Disable Cartridge Protection if that option exists. Look under Settings → Supplies / Cartridge Settings → Cartridge Protection → Off. 3. Power reset: leave the printer on, unplug the power cable from the printer and wall, wait about 60 seconds, reconnect it directly to the wall, and restart. 4. Remove the third-party cartridges, restart the printer, then reinstall them one at a time. 5. If it now says something like “Non-HP chip detected,” “Cartridge blocked,” “Supply problem,” or “Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled,” tell me the exact message.

My Lexus, my daughter’s BMW, and my husband’s Acura all take whatever oil is put in them……. Not sure what car that commenter has that tells them what specific oil to use….. I also use whatever other fluids the shop puts in. I’ve never told them specific brands lmao
