Update - They did another X-ray three weeks later, & the tumors have grown significantly and are taking over his body. We are cherishing every last second with him.

When we put down our dog 3 years ago, he had cancer stage 4 and by the time we realized it because he was fine besides just panting more than usual. We got him to the vet it was too late. They gave a few weeks to live and then his legs gave out on him and we knew it was time. I’m so sorry for your loss. I have a black lab who’s 10 in a month and I’m scared the time is coming for her.

We just put down our golden. He was acting weird in the past week: not eating as much and walking slowly on walks. On the day he passed, he was panting since we woke up. We brought him to the vet but it was too late. He had masses on his heart and liver and had internal bleeding. Praying for your pup.

I am so so sorry. My little love was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and only lasted two more weeks post diagnosis. She was her normal happy self the day before diagnosis. Cherish, savor, love every single moment. I would give anything for 5 more minutes with my girl.

Mine happened within 24 hours. She was her normal self and I came home from work that night and noticed she was squatting to pee with nothing coming out. I took her to the ER that night. She went from being completely fine to being diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma that had metastasized to her lungs and completely obstructed her bladder. They recommend euthanasia that night but I couldn’t. She was diagnosed January 28th, 2025 and after dozens of trips to a specialist and trying everything we could she passed March 10, 2025 at only 6 years old. It is so heartbreaking watching them go through it. I’m so sorry💔

My boy was 3 years old when we found his. He passed away months after finding out. I wish I could tell you it gets better but I’m still crying everyday. We should’ve gotten at least 10 summers, way more walks and cuddles. It’s not fair.

Literally I’m so sorry to hear that i understand my dog had bone cancer and it was all over her body it was going to end up killing her and we had to put her down today.

My world was rocked on 3/11 when I took my 5 year old Jade into the vet because she just wasn’t acting ok. She had a tumor on her spleen and had to have her spleen removed the next morning. They gave up 2-6 months and she lived another 2.5 months until we knew she was ready to go on 5/27. Im still so heartbroken every single day. I miss her so much ❤️🩹

a few days before his diagnosis he was running swimming and doing everything he loved, 4 months later had to put him down only 2 months after his 4th birthday, miss him every single day.

We found out in January, very aggressive osteosarcoma, given only a couple weeks. She is still doing great and happy as a clam right now post amputation, don’t give up hope 🥰

Took my dog in to the vet in may and they diagnosed him with congestive heart failure. He died July 10th. I didn’t think he’d leave so soon💔.

this happened to us with our girl. she was swimming in the ocean having a blast as per usual and a month later, also two days before my wedding, she went in for an emergency splenectomy due to a ruptured splenic mass. it was hemangiosarcoma. so sorry youre going through this. they dont deserve to experience this 😭
