We had a female who drill Sargent called “short stack”. Not only was she the shortest in our platoon, she was the shortest in the battery. What’s even funnier is that she became our flag carrier. That flag and pole were about twice her height. At one point she told one of the drill sergeants that she didn’t like the name and was just told “too bad short stack”
