use memory cues instead of hitting hot cues so u don’t have to pause and wheel back and then hold cue, this will save u so much time

Yall the hard part about djing is developing your transitioning skills not using the cdjs. DJs put hours of work into finding new transitioning and learning how to make them easy

They’re really not that hard to use, went to a pirate studios and was surprised how much stuff I learned from my controller transferred over, just use rekordbox without waveforms by hitting space.

also make sure you have the right USB for the software you’re using. Learned that the CDJ 2000s only supported FAT32 USBs and not EXFAT USBs, like 15 min before my first CDJ set…😭

I don’t think most clubs/festivals/venues still use 2000s. They all use 3000s, 3000xs, or maybe a XDJ AZ. I actually learned on 2000s back in 2021. Still good knowledge if you run into them.
