My cat had a reaction similar due to a flea medicine! I’m not sure if you’ve recently given a flea treatment, but if so, it’s apparently a pretty common symptom of it!

Mine did this and it was mycoplasma. It lingers and others can catch it if they share a room with the impacted or even after the impacted left. I recommend a PCR test.
