Hey so if you monitor your child’s gaming this doesn’t happen. My daughter plays Roblox. On the Xbox. On the living room tv. No headset and the Xbox keyboard is annoying as fuck. She doesn’t have an iPad or tablet or phone and she doesn’t game privately on any platform. I see absolutely everything she does on Roblox and even made an account to play things like Adopt Me and 99 Nights in the Forest with her. Your kids arent at risk if you’re monitoring and controlling what games they are allowed to try out.

my kids play roblox. the difference is my son doesn't read the chat. he doesn't care for it. my daughter is learning how to read/write, so I'll have to watch out for her, but i have monitoring software on her pc.

If they trust their own system, Completely safe and blocks in place to ensure pred behaviour is not permitted - blocking the conversation and locking im them out in real time is shady as. If it’s so safe Roblox should be happy for public conversation and discussion! Why any parent would let their kid go anywhere near this game, even supervised or with new safe guards, is beyond me.

they got banned for participating in a chat that violated policy. the algorithm doesnt decipher between the two ppl in the chat....it simply identifies the issue and bans both parties. kind of how schools dont decide who starred a fight, both kids get suspended. this isnt rocket science.

my two daughters play Roblox and I play with them sometimes. we explicitly say no chatting or giving names or pictures. if someone trys to talk to them there is no reply they simply just block that person. we watch videos together about what predators do to trick kids so they understand how it can happen. parents just need to be better. that being said Roblox should also be better.
