I had a heterotopic. My daughter is almost 4 now. I make jokes that her twin brother got lost because little boys fail to follow directions.

I was a heterotopic baby! Obviously my twin was the unlucky one but me and my mom are both alive and well! Was definitely scary though because they found out when my twin burst her tube. Almost killed us all.

This was me last year! They told me I was having a miscarriage and sent me home…I was rushed to the hospital and into surgery three days later with an abdomen full of blood 🙃 When I woke up the surgeon said “I really didn’t think you were going to make it!” And hugged me while crying 😅

i had a ultrasound scan ordered by my gp after i had been in emergency days prior for pv bleeding and severe stomach cramps and the scan showed an ectopic, i had an appointment 2 days later at the hospital for another scan and so they could make a plan to remove and 2 babies were found, one in my uterus and one in my right tube. i did not rupture but had internal bleeding and was rushed to surgery where they removed my right tube and flushed my uterus removing both pregnancies.

Last year I was misdiagnosed w a ectopic (it was a corpus luteum) but I was actually pregnant but miscarried from the mtx but prior I literally was in denial of the ectopic diagnosis that I told myself I was having a heterotopic pregnancy lol I was kinda right 😅

Got misdiagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy. When they went in to do surgery, it was actually endometriosis that had completely ripped apart my fallopian tube.

I had one of those! went in because I was bleeding badly and cramping, they only found the uterine pregnancy on the ultrasound and it looked normal so they told me I was fine, kept going back (4 times) and being told the pain and bloating was constipation and bleeding was nothing to worry about. eventually I started blacking out randomly throughout the day so I went back in and refused to leave. Got another ultrasound and they couldn't even find my organs because of all the blood in my abdomen. the blacking out was because the fluid was compressing my lungs when I sat or lay down. Anyway that's the story of how I bled internally for around 13 days almost died and my doctor transferred out of the country before I recovered so I couldn't go after him for malpractice. -_-

I lost my twins to this during lock down, one was ectopic then the other i gave birth to at home at 14 weeks, that's how we discovered twin B

I had this when I was 21. they did an emergency surgery to remove the one in the tube. but the uterine one ended up being a missed miscarriage and I had to have a d&c. super traumatic experience. I hope you are okay, and things go well.

my 2nd pregnancy was a hetero. they didnt catch it until my tube ruptured. almost died. but the other baby was perfect and she's now 19!

Me too! My tube burst and I almost died because the ER just thought my bleeding meant I was losing my uterine pregnancy. Walked around bleeding internally for four days and needed 7 units of blood. I hope you’re ok and your uterine pregnancy makes it. Hang in there .

Mine went undiagnosed because the doctor I was seeing knew I was pregnant and seen scans that one baby was where it was supposed to be so when the ectopic pregnancy ruptured in my fallopian tube he told me it was cramps from left over matter from my previous miscarriage anyways I took myself to the hospital and now have a healthy one month old girl that survived the surgery at 8 weeks pregnant ❤️

Hi! My first pregnancy was also a heterotopic. Had surgery at 8 weeks with a mostly normal pregnancy. My baby will be 7 months old in a few weeks. Sending you lots of thoughts and love!

I hope you’re doing ok! I had a hetero and lost both. Make sure you buy yourself something to feel better as you go through this. Even if it’s small like your favorite cookie or renting a good movie. It helps with the grief and the pain 💕

Oh hi, I had my tubes tied right after giving birth, 2 yrs later I was 12 weeks pregnant with this very same thing. I had a miscarriage for one, surgery to remove the other that was in my regrown tube. I almost didn’t live through this.
