Wow. I left my card in head by mistake on Saturday 3pm. Sunday office closed so retrieved my card on Monday morning at 7am so card in head clocking up working time. With no rest all of Saturday night, all of Sunday up till 7am Monday when I printed off …. Not received an infringement due to not doing enough break as card was continually running throughout all night all day all night.,, is there a procedure where I could’ve when I received my card Monday morning backdated my finish time Saturday 3 PM therefore avoid the infringement

@Shaun Prentice: For us old bastards take a piece of Tacho paper and do a manual entry on the back. This saves any errors being done on the head. And save in a diary.

A lot of drivers don’t do manual entry, but if you go on the Government website under HGV regulations, you can be fined £100 for each entry you don’t put in. If you work 20 days £2000 could be your monthly wages. 😳
