Find another doctor and get on accutane before it starts to permanently scar. Don’t get it off anywhere where a doctor isn’t managing you, it’s very risky if you aren’t monitored. Liver failure, mental health issues, etc

Acne after doxy is terrible i straight up told my derm doxy aint working for me so he cut off that n put me on accutane

Doxy worked well for me but didn’t get rid of it permanently, are you on another antibiotic now? They put me on cephalexyn and it was horrible after that went on accutane and have perfect skin now.

Same thing happened now I got clindamycin and Tretinoin and it basically all cleared

Idk why docs love prescribing doxycycline like i literally had to take two courses of it cuz they rather make u go through a much longer process than take accutane 💔

Find a new derm under your insurance provider and tell them you’ve had acne for 5+ years, did two rounds of doxycycline, and it’s been treatment resistant, they’ll give accutane asap it’s ridiculous what happens once you lie
