For everyone confused and freaking out. this is called breaking the berm and it’s not harmful at all but actually very helpful for the environment. It’s a creek and the water stays stagnant. The longer the water stays stagnant, the more bacteria and pollution levels in the water rise. Eventually, the water will reach the ocean naturally but the longer it sits the more harmful it could be to the ocean. breaking the berm=less pollution! Hope this calms y’all down
