😒For the people who were saying, the parents are ungrateful, not necessarily this is America. We don’t have universal healthcare. So any of those kids who had to go to the hospital for injuries even though the bus driver did his best to avoid harm the parents had to pay out-of-pocket for the medical expenses so if the parents didn’t have the money to cover those medical expenses, they’re only choice is to sue. Suing doesn’t mean that you’re greedy. It means that the country that doesn’t provide you universal healthcare forces you into situations that make you look like a shitty person.

I get what you’re saying about not having universal healthcare, but the parents are suing the wrong person. The driver is hurt too, what about his medical expenses? If he didn’t do what he did, the situation could have been far worse. The parents are basically blaming the driver for what happened and that is not fair, it’s wrong, and it’s cruel. They are attacking the person who saved their kid’s lives. Your point about healthcare is valid, but the parents are going about this the wrong way. What was the driver supposed to do?
