it’s so normalized nowadays too. like hating on mothers for doing this, hating on teenage girls for doing this, hating on older women for doing this. like i genuinely don’t think they even realize how easy they hate on them but give a man a pass cause they “don’t know better”. there is such a higher standard for women, and i do get it in a sense, like i was raised a certain way to be respectful to myself and others, but it’s almost like men get the pass to just do whatever, cause they aren’t held to the same standard. it is so exhausting hearing this STILL TO DO THIS DAY. like it has been so long we’ve progressed but women will be treated so poorly and unfair. and sometimes it even be so called “feminist”. like they will hate on men, but also hate on a mother because she feels the need to raise her child one way. BUT WHERE IS HATING ON THE FATHER? like they get a free pass so many times that it feels disrespectful. also sorry for this being so long but it’s just wild that we are still fighting for respect.
