A&K Sanctuary's Kitirua Plains Lodge had only just opened when I stayed here. And with the property being so new, I wanted to give you a proper look around the property and the facilities that come with a stay here. One thing I appreciated about the property was how much thought had gone into the spaces beyond the suites. Facilities include: • A swimming pool overlooking the plains • A spa and open-air yoga deck • A gym with views of the landscape •Indoor and outdoor dining areas  • Multiple lounges and fireplaces • An observation tower and telescope for wildlife viewing • A library stocked with books on Kenya and wildlife • A boutique featuring local crafts • A traditional boma for cultural evenings • A wine cellar and private dining experiences • Open-sided safari vehicles designed for wildlife viewing and photography For a property with this many facilities, it never felt like the landscape had become secondary. Whether I was by the pool, having tea, or simply moving between spaces, Amboseli remained the main attraction. Which I loved. There's a lot more I can't wait to share from my stay here.
